You will find many exciting things to do
in the surrounding area while you are staying with us. Here are just a few of
the things to do within a few miles.
Thanksgiving Point- A Five hundred acre oasis that has something for
everyone. It originated with the belief that all things that come of the
earth were created for the benefit and the use of man, to please the eye and
gladden the heart, to strengthen the body and enliven the soul. It has a
gift shop, garden
and nursery, the Garden
Wall Restaurant and Bakery, an agricultural
learning center, and the (Johnny Miller
designed) Ambush Golf Course,
less than 10 minutes from Timpanogos Inn.
Take a look at their web page at:

dinosaur museums in the world, offering more than 50 standing skeletal
displays of dinosaurs and a treasure trove of other fossils. Visit and be

Remember the movie
"Footloose," starring Kevin Bacon, where the young
people held a dance in a flour mill? That mill is just up the street from
the Timpanogos Inn, and more importantly, that mill is still in operation.
Lehi Roller Mills is shipping their famous Peacock and Turkey brand flour
to bakeries, stores and other institutions all over the western United
States. And the buttermilk pancakes you will enjoy for breakfast are made
with their flour, too. While you are here, don't miss the opportunity to
visit the Lehi Roller Mills and take home some pancakes mix for yourself.
The store hours are from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and
from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday. |
Mount
Timpanogos LDS Temple- The Mount Timpanogos Temple, one of several sacred
structures of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was completed
in 1996 and is located just a few miles from the Timpanogos Inn. One of the
purposes of the temple is for wedding ceremonies to unite Latter-day Saint
(LDS) couples. The proximity of this temple makes the Timpanogos Inn an
ideal location for wedding parties and out of town guests. The church also
operates the Provo Temple and the Jordan River Temple, both within about 20
miles of the hotel. For more information on the LDS (sometimes nicknamed
Mormon) church, including the extensive Family History Genealogical Library
in Salt Lake City, see their homepage at
